DashHarbor Legal
Refund Policy
Last updated: · Version 0.2
This policy explains refunds and cancellation for DashHarbor's managed EmDash website subscriptions. The service costs $19 USD per website per month. It should be read with the Terms of Service and the price and renewal details shown at checkout.
Cancel a subscription
Subscriptions normally renew monthly. You can stop future renewals using the DashHarbor Billing page and the FastSpring subscription-management page it opens. Ordinary cancellation normally keeps the website's paid entitlement in place until the paid-through date shown for that subscription. Deleting a website does not automatically cancel the subscription.
Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund a charge for a billing period already started. This does not affect any cancellation or refund right given by law.
Refunds and billing errors
We do not offer a separate unconditional money-back guarantee or automatic pro-rata refund simply because a customer chooses to stop using the service part-way through a paid billing period. We will consider refund requests fairly, including duplicate or incorrect charges, service not supplied as agreed, and circumstances where a statutory remedy applies.
To request a refund or dispute a charge, email hello@getdashharbor.com with the account email, approximate charge date and a short explanation. Do not send card numbers or passwords. We may coordinate with FastSpring, which processes subscription payments, to review and process the request. Approved refunds are normally returned using the payment provider's available refund method.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you are buying as a consumer, applicable distance-selling law may give you a right to cancel a service contract within 14 days of making it, and additional cancellation or refund rights may apply where you live. If you expressly request that the service starts within a statutory cancellation period, the law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied, subject to the applicable conditions and information given before purchase. We do not assume that starting to use a website automatically removes a legal cancellation right.
You can exercise an applicable statutory cancellation right by sending a clear statement to hello@getdashharbor.com within the relevant period. You do not need to use a special form. If you wish to prevent a subscription renewal as well, use Billing or tell us clearly that you also want renewal cancelled. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
Website deletion and support
Deleting a website permanently removes its customer-specific infrastructure and content as the deletion workflow completes. It is a separate action from cancelling a subscription or seeking a refund. Contact hello@getdashharbor.com before deletion if you need billing assistance or to discuss the availability of any required data return.
