DashHarbor Legal
Cookie Policy
Last updated: · Version 0.1
Cookies and similar browser storage can remember a session or a setting. This policy covers the DashHarbor marketing site and application. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Authentication and security
The application at app.getdashharbor.com uses necessary authentication and session cookies to keep you signed in and protect account access. Authentication cookies are secure and HTTP-only. Sharing the application's authentication cookies across customer-site subdomains is deliberately disabled; a customer site's editor session is separate.
Infrastructure used for secure access may also involve security-related cookies or storage, depending on the service and page you use. This is distinct from advertising tracking. Blocking necessary session storage can prevent sign-in or protected access from working.
Guide promotion session storage
The marketing site uses sessionStorage with the key dashharbor_exit_emdash_guide_seen. It records whether the EmDash guide exit promotion has already appeared, so it is not repeatedly shown in the same browser session. The value is a simple flag, not an account identifier or advertising profile.
This is browser session storage, rather than a cookie sent with every request. Its lifetime follows the browser's session handling, and you can clear it using your browser's site-data controls.
Embedded services and future changes
The EmDash guide loads an Auripath player and email form from app.auripath.com. That external service may use its own storage or cookies. Review the notices and controls presented with the guide.
DashHarbor does not currently add advertising trackers or a separate third-party marketing analytics service to this site. This does not mean every application, infrastructure service or embedded player is storage-free. We will update this policy and provide required information and choices if non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies are introduced.
