DashHarbor Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: · Version 0.1
Use DashHarbor lawfully and without harming other people or the service. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to your website, content and use of platform resources.
Unacceptable activity
- Unlawful activity or publishing material you have no lawful right to publish.
- Malware, malicious downloads, phishing, fraud, impersonation intended to deceive, or credential theft.
- Attacks on systems or networks, botnets, unauthorised access, or deliberate interference with security controls.
- Spam or using the service to organise abusive or unlawful unsolicited communications.
- Infringing intellectual-property rights, including distributing material without the necessary rights or permission.
- Circumventing platform restrictions, another customer's access controls, or resource and account protections.
- Activity that creates unreasonable technical or security risks, including deliberately exhausting resources or disrupting other users.
You must also ensure your business activity and handling of personal information comply with applicable law. The service is not permission to conduct activity that would otherwise be unlawful.
Problems and compromised websites
Tell DashHarbor through your existing service support channel if you discover suspected abuse or a compromise affecting your website. Cooperate with reasonable steps to investigate and contain the issue. Do not send credentials or unnecessary personal information when reporting a concern.
An accidentally compromised website is different from deliberate abuse. We will consider the cause, impact and your response. Immediate isolation or restriction may still be necessary to protect visitors, other customers or infrastructure while a compromise is addressed.
Proportionate enforcement
We may ask you to correct a problem, restrict affected content or access, suspend affected resources, or end service for serious or repeated breaches. Action should be proportionate to the risk. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to respond or fix it.
Urgent security threats, serious unlawful activity or legal requirements may require action without advance notice. Restrictions will be reviewed when the issue is resolved. If you believe we have misunderstood an incident, raise that concern through your service correspondence. The Terms explain suspension and termination more fully.
